Process
To begin this project I started out with a few days of research which consisted of competitive analysis and brand history. After research, I moved on to sketching logo ideas and creating a mood board to help guide my design process. I was largely inspired by the Appalachian Mountains where MF Bladeworks is located and wanted to make sure I included elements of the mountains in the branding.
The final mark combines a leaf and a knife to capture the products of MF Bladeworks, as well as reflect the area they are located and source their wood from
